Click the DXF in button and browse to the job folder, then navigate to the folder that holds your job patterns. Once in the folder, select the pattern DXF file that contains the part you want to edit.
If you don't see the DXF file you're looking for, you may be in a sub-folder. Try browsing up one or more levels to the main job folder. If you need to access an entirely different job, use the file explorer to navigate to the correct job folder by starting at the folder below.
When adding or editing machining, always start by double-clicking the pattern to open its group. It's important not to explode the pattern itself. Instead, you can modify an existing part by double-clicking it to edit its perimeter, or you can add new features by drawing them within the boundaries of any part.
Double-click the part you want to edit to enter the group containing its perimeter. Once inside, make any necessary edits to the perimeter cut.
The example below shows how I added a cutout for a sink bowl to the top drawer bottom of a three-drawer cabinet. I double-clicked to enter the drawer bottom group and modified its perimeter to create the cutout.
